This documentary film tells about Armenian region of Javakhq, which is more than 2.5 thousand years old and which is being transformed day by day and disappears. Film will reveal negative aspects of the tragedy, the disappearance of architectural and cultural values.

Synopsis

The film presents distressful past, bitter and contradictory present and the image of vague future of Javakhq region forming the part of historical homeland. Being an important geographical and military strategical region, Javakhq has always been the political apple of discord for neighborhood countries, in the result of which, it has been emptied from Armenians and stood on the verge of destruction for many times. Javakhq, situated in the territory of neighborhood country, forming the part of our historical homeland, today is again subjected to demographic, social-economic, as well as to spiritual-cultural and even religious assimilation. The youth who bears the important plot line of the film, finishing the tour through the native land, is filled with the consciousness of being the real owner and heir of his homeland.
