PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 14, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met with the head of Armenian Civil Aviation Central Department Artyom Movsesyan as well as members of the department.

Issues related to the development of civil aviation in Artsakh and cooperation of the two Armenian states in this sphere were discussed during the meeting.

Special attention was given to Stepanakert airport reopening, with the head of Artsakh Civil Aviation Department Dmitry Atbashyan briefing those present on the progress of airport construction works.

Artsakh President characterized the airport as on of the most significant strategic objects in NKR, stressing the importance of its efficient operation, Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported.
