NewsAm The heavy snowfall hit Armenia on February 1, causing major disruption on highways.

The Selim pass on Martuni-Yeghegnadzor highway is closed, Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication informed Armenian News-NEWS.am

The ministry calls the drivers not to travel as heavy snow, sleet and ice have caused major disruption on the highways. A snowstorm is expected in Shirak region of Armenia. Snow has turned to slush and started to freeze in Aragatsotn region, making conditions even more difficult.
